One God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Inspired, true, and the final authority for faith and life.
Fully God and fully man, He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to give us eternal life.
Not by our own works, but by God’s mercy in Christ alone.
Are means through which God delivers His promises to us. In Baptism, He adopts us as His children. In Holy Communion, Christ gives us His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins.
At Immanuel, we believe that in the Lord’s Supper, we receive the true body and blood of Christ in, with, and under the bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation.
Out of love for God’s Word and care for the spiritual well-being of all who commune, we follow the historic Christian practice of close communion.
We invite to the Lord’s Table all those who are baptized, repentant of their sins, and in doctrinal fellowship with the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
If you are not a confirmed LCMS member or are uncertain about our beliefs, we kindly ask that you speak with the pastor before communing.
This practice is not intended to exclude, but to uphold the unity of faith that Holy Communion also expresses.
