We know visiting a new church can feel overwhelming. At Immanuel Lutheran Church, we want you to feel welcome, comfortable, and at home in the family of Christ. Here’s what you can expect when you join us for worship.
- When: Sundays at 11:00 am
- Where: 390 County Rd. 2400 E. Broadlands, IL 61816-9722
Our worship follows the historic liturgy of the Lutheran Church, rooted in God’s Word and centered on Christ. Services include Scripture readings, hymns, a sermon, and prayer.
You’ll see people dressed in everything from jeans to suits. Wear what you feel comfortable in -you are welcome as you are.
As a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, we believe Christ’s true body and blood are given in the Sacrament for the forgiveness of sins. Because Communion also expresses our unity in faith, we practice close communion. If you are not a member of an LCMS congregation, we kindly ask you to speak with our pastor before communing.
We love having children in worship. Don’t worry if they wiggle or make noise — they’re learning how to worship, too! We also offer Sunday School at 10:00 am where kids can learn Bible stories, sing songs, and grow in faith.
At Immanuel, we believe growing in God’s Word is a lifelong journey. Our Adult Bible Class is a time for study, discussion, and encouragement as we dig deeper into Scripture together. Join us in the fellowship hall at 10:00 am for adult Bible class.
Come and join us as we hear God’s truth, strengthen our faith, and encourage one another in Christ.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
